About the film
Kakor (Cookies) is a Swedish short comedy about an overworked, sleep-deprived new father who takes revenge during an office coffee break. Produced in Skåne with support from Filmcentrum Syd, the film competed internationally at Clermont-Ferrand 2024, screened at Melbourne International Film Festival and is available on SVT Play.
Direction
Alessandro Stigliano wrote, directed and produced Kakor, blending deadpan Scandinavian humour with precise, almost thriller-like staging of a small workplace conflict.
Collaboration
Made with cinematographer Oscar Asplind, editor Sebastian Waga and composer Martin Persson, and distributed by SVT. Originally produced under Clean Reindeer Film, now Ahoogafilm.
